R. Abel Magaña
General Manager
Abel Magaña is responsible for generating company growth and for ensuring strong connections with customers and suppliers. He manages the company’s marketing, sales, and business development departments.
Abel has over six years of management and marketing experience. In the past, he has served as Marketing Manager at Silicon Valley Education Foundation, a non-profit that promotes education in the Santa Clara County. Prior to that, Abel managed the marketing department of iCORE Global, an international consortium of regional real estate experts. He also served as Manager of Communications at Diamond Systems Corporation, a worldwide supplier of ruggedized PC/104 I/O modules and highly integrated embedded single-board computers. Prior to Diamond Systems, he worked as the Director of Marketing of AsiaPac International, a provider of corporate international real estate and project management services.
Abel earned a bachelor’s degree in international business and a minor in Latin America studies from San Jose State University. He also holds an A.A. degree in business administration from Cabrillo College and an A.A. degree in Graphic Arts from Mission College.
Rigoberto Magaña
Operations Manager
As the operation manager, Rigo Magaña Sr. is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. He supervises all the routes and makes sure that all the vending machines are properly filled and in excellent working condition. He also oversees the sale and purchase of vending equipment and the maintenance of the delivery trucks. Rigo has over nine years of experience in the vending industry.
Ana B. Martinez
Office Manager
Ana is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office. Ana is in charge of planning, organizing, and controlling the clerical aspect of the company, including the preparation, communication, coordination and storage of data to support managers and delivery drivers. Ana also is responsible for managing the accounting books of the company.
Jahaziel Magaña
Warehouse Manager
As the Warehouse Manager, Jahaziel Magaña supports the company’s sales department, manages the inventory, and oversees the day-to-day operations in the warehouse.
Before joining Vendwize, Jahaziel worked at the Santa Cruz Community Credit Union as a Member Service Representative. Jahaziel holds an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, and is currently working towards a Bachelors of Science degree in Graphic Arts.
Nora Gonzalez
H.R. Manager
As the company's Human Resources manager, Nora Gonzalez is responsible for payroll, recruiting and hiring new employees, and evaluating staff performance. Nora also ensures our company meets safety measures required by the law.
Prior to Vendwize, Nora worked for Jertberg Strawberries as the company's H.R. Generalist. Nora holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development and a Masters Degree in Education, both from San Jose State University.
